Manuel Muga of Bodegas Muga visited the Slocum & Sons sales team on September 27. Bodegas Muga is a premier producer in Rioja Alta, with the Muga family among Spain’s most notable winemaking families. Bodegas Muga was officially founded in 1932, who at that point had spent several decades working as viticulturists in Rioja Alta. The Mugas were in the négociant business of buying, blending and aging wine, eventually producing their own estate-grown wines. The winery is still owned by the Mugas and every aspect of its operation is controlled and overseen by the family. Muga presented his iconic wines to the team including Muga Selección Reserva 2014 and Muga Gran Reserva Prado Enea.
