Brockmans Gin was featured during a food and drink event at the Connecticut Science Center, “Science Straight Up: For the Love of Food,” on February 8. Billed as “Hartford’s smartest happy hour,” the event for “curious adults” blended socializing with science, featuring celebrity chefs and food personalities, science experts and hands-on activities and demos such as kitchen chemistry and molecular gastronomy and more. A Brockmans Gin sampling booth featured Flair Bartender Francesco Dionese, named New Yorks’ Master of the Manhattan in 2016, among other industry renown. Dionese mixed several Brockmans Gin cocktails for guests with a science flair including the Smoked Cynar Negroni, Rocco and It’s Not Rocket Science.
