Daou Family Estates Takes Visitors to Vineyard Online

By June 25, 2020Rhode Island, Top News

Paso Robles, California’s Daou Family Estates began offering virtual private tastings to highlight its range of wine, distributed in Rhode Island by Mancini Beverage. The vineyard began inviting guests to enjoy Daou wines by reserving a tasting with a wine educator for groups of up to 10 online. Daou Vineyards Rosé de Famille 2019, Daou Vineyards Pinot Noir 2018, Daou Vineyards Estate Soul of a Lion Red, Daou Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon 2017, Daou Vineyards Pessimist Red Blend 2017 and 2018, and Daou Vineyards Paso Robles Chardonnay 2018 are among its wines available in the state. The winery was founded in 2007 by brothers Georges and Daniel Daou, who sought an unrivaled terroir in California for producing Cabernet Sauvignon. Its home, Daou Mountain, at an elevation of 2,200 feet, is located in the Adelaida District of Paso Robles wine country, where they make California first-growth wine, creating a next benchmark for Bordeaux varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc.
