Slocum & Sons added another new extension of the Decoy Limited range: Sonoma Coast Chardonnay. The 2019 Chardonnay is crafted using grapes from acclaimed Sonoma Coast vineyards, including its own estate properties. The wine is the “ultimate expression of Decoy Chardonnay,” offering richness, energy and elegance with layers of stone fruit and spice. On the supple, creamy palate, bright acidity adds to the poise and purity of the nectarine, white peach and summer melon flavors, with French oak-driven hints of butterscotch and spice carrying the wine to a long, tantalizing finish. Established in 1985 by legendary vintners Dan and Margaret Duckhorn, the Decoy Limited range continues the brand’s winemaking tradition in an accessible, premium wine line.
