Diageo announced the appointment of Debra Crew as Global Chief Operating Officer and Claudia Schubert as President, North America, with each effective on October 1. Crew has led Diageo North America since 2020. Currently Diageo’s President, North America and Global Supply, Crew will “take accountability for driving continued performance momentum across Diageo’s markets, brands and supply operations globally,” continuing to report to Ivan Menezes, Chief Executive. Claudia Schubert is appointed President, North America, taking over Crew’s post and will join the Diageo Executive Committee. Since her appointment as President, U.S. Spirits and Canada, in 2018, Schubert has “reshaped the market’s strategy, put in place a strengthened route to market and built trusted partnerships with Diageo’s distributors in order to deliver strong growth.”
