Oregon’s Duck Pond Cellars became the first wine brand to achieve Natural Path Certification and to be certified a Clean Label Project as announced in March, reflecting the brand’s commitment to farming sustainably and organically. In 2020, Duck Pond produced the first-ever Natural Path Production Wines, certified by the Clean Label Project. Certified Natural Path Production criteria includes exclusive use of certified organic or glyphosate and neonicotinoid-free grapes, allowance of minimal cultured bacteria, minimal use of added sulfites to extend shelf life and ingredient labeling for transparency.
