Brescome Barton and Worldwide Wines will be hosting its 12th Annual Charity Golf Outing in support of the Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation (MC-LEF) on Sept. 9 at the New Haven Country Club in Hamden. MC-LEF provides educational assistance to the children of fallen United States Marines and Federal Law Enforcement personnel. MC-LEF currently establishes a $35,000 educational account for every child who loses a parent serving on active duty in the United States Marine Corps, Navy Corpsman or as a Federal Law Enforcement Agent. Since its founding in 1995, MC-LEF has awarded over $92 million in educational accounts and other humanitarian assistance to over 5,900 recipients. This annual event offers a fun-filled day with colleagues. Registration is first-come, first-served and will be capped at 108 players this year.
