Attorney Jerry Farrell, Jr. and Business Owner Myron Moore celebrate Kindred Spirits & Wine’s Shelton liquor permit.

Kindred Spirits & Wine received its liquor store permit and will operate in Shelton on 405A Bridgeport Avenue. Attorney Jerry Farrell, Jr. worked with business owners Myron Moore and John Hillgen to prepare their application for a new liquor license. Moore and Hillgen purchased their first wine store in 2004, Stepney Wine & Spirits, in Monroe. They opened Black Rock Wine & Spirits in Fairfield in 2005. Moore and Hillgen grew again late last year with the acquisition of a store in Westport, previously known as Bottlerocket. It, and all of the Moore and Hillgen stores, have been renamed Kindred Spirits & Wine as of 2016. Moore said, “Kindred Spirits & Wine is proud to be locally owned and operated. We continue to offer fine wines, craft beers and spirits from around the world.”
