The Newport Craft Brew Race celebrated its annual fun run on July 16 after a two-year hiatus. The event began with a scenic walk or run 5K for participants of all fitness levels, followed by a craft beer festival featuring more than 30 participating local, regional and national breweries on the grounds of historic Fort Adams State Park. Produced by Gray Matter Marketing, a portion of the proceeds from the Newport Craft Brew Race benefited the Rhode Island Brewers Guild in support of efforts to further the growth of craft beer and brewing in Rhode Island.
