
Frey Vineyards was featured during a pairing dinner at Jo’s American Bistro on September 20, hosted by Vickers’ Liquors in Newport. Frey Vineyards, based in Mendocino, California, holds the distinction as the first organic and biodynamic winery in the U.S., producing award-winning vegan, gluten-free wines with no added sulfites since 1980. Special guest Frey Vineyard’s Manager and Winemaker Jonathan Frei led guests through the tasting of Frey Pinot Grigio 2016, Pacific Redwood Pinot Noir 2016, Frey Biodynamic Cabernet 2017 and Pacific Redwood Cabernet 2016, each paired with a four-course menu offering led by Chef Brian Ruffner. The wines are available in Rhode Island via Sage Cellars.
