Greenwich Wine + Food Fest Highlights Local Food and Beverage Stars

The 8th Annual Greenwich Wine + Food Festival at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park in Greenwich fêted guests on September 21-22. The event began with an Opening Night Master Chef Wine Dinner on September 21. On September 22, a celebrity chef event featured cooking demonstrations from Chefs Daniel Boulud, Adam Richman, Mary Giuliani, Scott Conant and Alex Guarnaschelli. Guests enjoyed tastings and demonstrations from more than 150 local food, wine and spirits vendors under the Grand Tasting tent. Sommeliers, mixologists and brewmasters also gave presentations. Area mixologists competed in the fourth annual Top Bartender Showdowns bartending competition. The event closed with a musical performance by Tim McGraw. Proceeds from the event benefited the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, the Town of Greenwich Parks & Recreation Foundation and Ment’or.
