Grey Sail Brewing hosted a Cigar & Spirits night on Aug. 2 at its courtyard beer garden in Westerly. Guests enjoyed pairing a flight of its sister company brand South County Distillers barrel-aged spirits and two cigars from selections provided by Vintage Cigar Lounge & Club. Opened by Jennifer and Alan Brinton in the converted 1920s-era Westerly Macaroni Factory, the brewery began operations on Nov. 11, 2011. Grey Sail offers more than 10 core and flagship brews, along with a variety of seasonal offerings. The brewery and distillery host many events each month in its Grey Sail Courtyard. South County Distillers produces its spirits entirely in-house, which include South County Botanical Rum, Rum, Vodka, Gin, Limoncello and Agave. South County Distillers barrel-aged spirits include Bourbon, Rye, Barrel Rested Gin, Spirit of Captain’s Daughter, Agave Añejo and Agave Reposado.
