Guinness launched a new giving campaign with its limited-edition, branded Guinness Gives Back pack, eight 14.9-ounce cans of Guinness Draught Stout. For every pack produced, a $1 donation, $750,000 collectively, is given to charitable organizations in the U.S. One national and four regional versions of the pack are available, branded for New York, California, Chicago and Boston. The national Guinness Gives Back America pack will trigger regional and national donations to Direct Relief, a global organization that seeks to improve the health and safety of those affected by poverty and emergencies. The regional packs support food banks working to combat the increase of food-insecurity rates. An additional $1 donation, up to $100,000, is triggered by consumers using a social media hashtag on posts made by Dec. 31, 2020.
