Highland Imports hosted a tasting of its latest spirits offerings through Inspired Beverage at Sherkaan Indian Street Food in New Haven on June 17. The Sherkaan bar team created cocktails for guests featuring spirits including Bertha’s Revenge Small Batch Irish Milk Gin, Silent Pool Gin, Merlet C2 Café Liqueur, Merlet Soeurs Cerises Cherry Liqueur, Merlet Crème de Melon Charentais, Merlet Cognac VS, Merlet Cognac VSOP, Merlet Cognac XO, SelvaRey Rum Cacao Dark Rum, SelvaRey Rum and Chareau Aloe Liqueur. Guests also enjoyed small plates from the Sherkaan kitchen.

- Bertha’s Revenge Small Batch Irish Milk Gin, distilled from whey with 18 different botanicals from Ireland’s Ballyvolane House Spirits Company, and England’s Silent Pool Gin, a juniper-forward spirit crafted with 24 botanicals, along with water from Surrey’s Silent Pool.
