Holiday Good Deeds Campaign Benefits Multiple Nonprofits

Connecticut Distributors, Inc. (CDI), participated in several team-led community service and outreach programs during the 2022 holiday season through the company’s Good Deeds campaign. Beneficiaries of CDI’s efforts included Stand With Ukraine blue-and-yellow bracelet sales, spearheaded by AnnMarie Brennan, New England division, whose team initiative raised $2,400 for food, water and medicines for the civilians caught in the conflict; St. Vincent de Paul Place Food Distribution, where a team spent the day preparing food boxes for Thanksgiving; The Cancer Institute at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, where a team decorated hearts with uplifting messages to help support people battling cancer; Bread for Life/Böen’s No Kid Hungry, where Amanda Doll, Mike Richardson and Tim Marcil, New England division, partnered with Copper Cane and retailer Worldwide Wine & Spirits to raise money and donate time; The Beth-El Center, where April Gentles, Anchor division, led efforts to collect personal hygiene items for the nonprofit organization that provides support services and advocacy to those experiencing homelessness and hunger within the Greater Milford community; KC101 Stuff-A-Bus, where the Anchor division supported the 32nd annual event donating nonperishable food items to benefit Connecticut Foodshare, and an additional day of team volunteering took place building food boxes for seniors; and the annual holiday toy drive for Sterling House’s Adopt-A-Family.
