Newport’s Island Wine & Spirits hosted its annual holiday tasting on Nov. 22. High-end selections and varietals from around the world were represented at the Friday evening tasting, where shoppers enjoyed firsthand education, sampling new selections and purchasing new brands for holiday dinners and gifts. Representatives from a variety of local wholesalers and suppliers poured for guests, including Johnson Brothers of Rhode Island, Mancini Beverage – Martignetti division, MS Walker of Rhode Island and Oceanstate Wine & Spirits.
