Horizon Beverage Co. hosted an industry training event featuring spirits from importer Back Bar Project at Ogie’s Trailer Park in Providence on Nov. 16. Trade guests gathered for a brand education and tasting of brands including Giffard, Sazon, Nuestra Soledad Mezcal, Bigallet, Cognac Park, Agave de Cortés Mezcal, Sotol Por Siempre, Worthy Park, Rum-Bar and more. Amanda de la Nuez, Regional Manager, Back Bar Project, LLC, led trade guests through an education and tasting. During the event, guests tasted Giffard Triple Sec, Giffard Menthe-Pastille, Cognac Park Carte Blanche VS Cognac, Cognac Park Fins Bois Organic Cognac, Cognac Park VSOP, Cognac Park Borderies Mizunara Cask Cognac, Nuestra Soledad Mezcal, Agave de Cortés Mezcal, Rum-Bar White Overproof Jamaica Rum, Worthy Park 109 Proof Jamaica Rum and Worthy Park Single Estate Reserve Jamaica Rum. Guests paired selections with comfort foods from Ogie’s Trailer Park, including pizza logs, mac and cheese croquettes, wings and grilled cheese.
