
Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC) announced the passing of company partner Alan Dreeben on March 25. With nearly five decades of industry experience, Dreeben was pivotal in shaping the company’s growth trajectory. From his humble beginnings at E. & J. Gallo Winery to his instrumental role in the formation of Republic National, his journey was marked by dedication, passion and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Dreeben began his career path in 1966 at E. & J. Gallo Winery. He was part of a pioneering leadership training program and reported directly to Ernest Gallo. He played a vital role in RNDC’s growth, serving as Vice Chairman and Director, followed by continued involvement after retiring in 2020. Throughout his career, he demonstrated an exemplary adherence to both his professional endeavors and his community. His leadership extended through numerous charitable organizations and educational initiatives, including bringing the Wine & Spirit Education Trust certification to the United States. His tireless advocacy for causes close to his heart, from health care to mentorship and education, serves as a testament to his generous spirit, representatives said in a media release.
