Italy’s Cantina Puiatti Refreshes Labels

By November 25, 2022Connecticut, Top News

Cantina Puiatti Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc and Ribolla Gialla showcase new labels.

The wines of Cantina Puiatti offer a new look and labels on varietals Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc and Ribolla Gialla, now seen on shelves and on-premise in three bold colors. Puiatti, which began producing its wines in 1976 in northern Italy’s Friuli region, offers a winemaking ethos defined by what is not done to its wine: no oak, no over-ripening, no maceration, no inoculation and no oxidation. The simple approach in limiting intervention results in “extraordinarily complex wines,” which showcase variety, typicity and purity. Founding winemaker Vittorio Puiatti said, “Nature loves simplicity, as simplicity is the form of greatness.” Imported by Taub Family Selections, the wines are distributed in the state by Worldwide Wines of North Haven.
