Jack Daniel’s and the Armed Services YMCA (ASYMCA) have launched its annual “Operation Ride Home” (ORH) to help junior-enlisted service members and their families travel to their homes from across the country this holiday season. Since 2011, the program has assisted 1,164 service members and their families, a total of 2,777 individuals, travel from their bases to their homes. Jack Daniel’s has again donated $100,000 for the effort. This effort is made possible through vouchers for plane tickets, pre-paid debit cards, and now, visitors to the site, www.jdoperationridehome.com, can donate airline miles from select airlines; all 100% tax deductible.
