Twin River Casino Hotel in Lincoln welcomed Jerry Longo’s Meatballs & Martinis to its guest offerings. The Longo’s brand originated in the Historic Federal Hill area in Providence, where Chef and Owner Jerry Longo created a unique menu of authentic Italian cuisine. Featuring “Italian soul food,” dishes offer Italian-American home-cooked favorites using both fine imported and fresh local ingredients for the venue’s signature dishes and desserts. Jerry Longo’s also features custom craft and classic cocktail favorites and an extensive variety of signature martinis – two dozen on the menu. Its curated wine selection features an extensive array of Italian still and sparkling wines from Tuscany, Piedmont, Sicily, Vento, Fruili and Trentino regions, among them, with many California, Washington, Oregon and South African wines also available among its robust list. In collaboration with Jerry Longo, the beverage program was developed by Frank Martucci, Director Beverage & Nightlife, Bally’s Corporation, the newly renamed parent company of Twin River Casino Hotel, who said, “We wanted to pair the beverage program to highlight the Italian soul food concept and the creativity of Jerry. There is something for everyone. The wine list offers 100% Italian varietals and our cocktails offer both [visual] appeal and taste experience while using a portfolio of Italian spirits.” A bocce ball court, blackjack tables, a DJ booth and classic black-and-white movies create a social dining club atmosphere. A media preview event on Nov. 5 showcased the range of the menu offerings that await guests.
