Kahlúa Coffee Liqueur, available in the state via Mancini Beverage – Rhode Island Distributing division, is rolling out a refreshed and bolder look for shelves and back bars as fall approaches. The bright yellow updated labels showcase iconic brand attributes with a boost of “Modern Mexico” and highlight the brand’s gold crest, heritage date, Gold Coffee roundel and 100% arabica coffee claim, all emphasizing the main well-recognized ingredients and quality in production against a more colorful backdrop with distinctive graphic elements. Originating in Mexico in 1936, Kahlúa is a 20% ABV rum and coffee liqueur used in a range of different drinks—from coffees to cocktails—White Russians, Espresso Martinis and Black Russians among them. While the label offers a new look, the bottle and the liquid, in its caramel color and deep, rich flavor of real black coffee and indulgent sweet butter, remain the same.
