Kindred Spirits & Wine hosted a charitable public tasting at Steady Habits Tasting Lounge in Shelton on June 7 to raise funds for breast cancer awareness. During the Valley Goes Pink event, guests enjoyed an exclusive tasting of more than 50 fine wines and spirits paired with food catered by The Cutting Wedge Deli. Guests enjoyed product discounts and raffles with entertainment provided by Chris Kalafus. The Valley Goes Pink initiative seeks to raise awareness about breast cancer and early detection, as well as collect funding for the Hewitt Center for Breast Wellness at Griffin Hospital in Derby through a variety of Pink Parties held at schools, corporations, clubs, restaurants and more.
