Krasno Rebula, Krasno Redec (Red Blend), Krasno Merlot, Krasno Orange, Krasno Sauvignonasse and Krasno Sparkling, each from Klet Brda in Slovenia, are now available.

Mancini Beverage – Rhode Island Distributing division added sustainably produced Slovenian wine line Krasno from Klet Brda, located in the Goriška Brda region, to its portfolio. The Krasno line showcases the indigenous grape variety Rebula, also called Ribolla Gialla. Rebula, the most iconic varietal of the Brda region, can be traced back to Roman times and holds a prominent place in all the brand lines of the Klet Brda winery. Krasno Rebula is an elegant Ribolla Gialla with a firm structure and mineral notes of Brda. Krasno Red Blend is made from Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Krasno Merlot features the red grape prominently. Krasno Orange is a light copper with amber shades; an aroma of quince, ripe pear and baked “pituralka” pear from Brda; and hints of thyme with a distinct minerality and gentle, sweet tannins. Its Krasno Sauvignonasse is a white wine offering mineral freshness and a full body with complex aromas. Krasno Sparkling is a fresh and fruit-forward wine in a lemon-yellow light gold color with tiny bubble chains and a reserved, fruit aroma of green apple and citruses. Krasno, which means “beautiful” or “pretty” in Slovenian, is the namesake the highest village in Brda, where the grapes are grown with a long wine tradition.
