Latitude Beverage showcased its two newest Italian sparkling offerings from 90+ Cellars to complement its recent release, Lot 50 Prosecco: Lot 49 Sparkling Rosé and Lot 134 Moscato d’Asti. Both are offered in 750ml. Lot 49 is a traditional dry sparkling rosé wine, pale pink in color and “fruity with notes of strawberries, passion fruit and rose petals.” Lot 134 Moscato d’Asti starts with grapes from vineyards planted in calcareous soils around the town of Asti in northwestern Italy’s Piemonte. It undergoes a single fermentation that is stopped when the wine reaches an alcohol around 5.5 percent, resulting in a “fresh, floral, and fizzy wine with a good dose of sweetness.”
