East Haven’s Yankee Discount Liquor hosted a Cinco de Mayo Patrón Tequila tasting for its customers. Amanda Pekar, Account Development Specialist at Connecticut Distributors, Inc. (CDI) educated guests on the brand and use of the different expressions in cocktails, which also included Roca Patrón, a 100% Tahona stone-milled tequila. For Memorial Day, Meredith Blake, Connecticut Director of Sales and Marketing for East Hartford’s Olde Burnside Brewing Company, conducted a tasting and education session on the brewery’s full line, and created a seasonal cocktail that included beer, wine and triple sec.
