
Monsieur Touton Selection, Ltd., hosted a pairing dinner featuring Rocca Giovanni wines at The Waters Edge at Giovanni’s in Darien on March 15. Hosted by Gino Tranchero, Brand Manager, Italian Estates, Monsieur Touton Selection, guests enjoyed education and a five-course meal prepared by the team at The Waters Edge paired with fine wine selections, including Rocca Giovanni Langhe Chardonnay, Barbera d’Alba Pianromualdo, Barolo and Barolo Mosconi. Select spirits were also featured in event cocktails, including 9 di Dante Inferno Vermouth di Torino Superiore and Hardshore Original Gin, which were showcased in the Hardshore Negroni cocktail, and Wild-Arbor Clear Cream Liqueur, which was featured in a Chocolate Martini paired with dessert. Cultivated by three generations of the Rocca family in Italy’s Piedmont region, the Rocca Giovanni estate produces 80,000 bottles annually, including Langhe Chardonnay DOC, Dolcetto d’Alba Vigna Sant’Anna DOC, Barbera d’Alba DOC and Barbera d’Alba Vigna Pianromualdo, Nebbiolo d’Alba DOC Giaculin, Langhe Rosso DOC Rucat, Barolo DOCG and Barolo DOCG Ravera di Monforte.
