MS Walker Launches Liqueurs and Ready-to-Drink Selections

By May 25, 2020Rhode Island, Top News

MS Walker of Rhode Island added several new brands to the marketplace in May and June, including Disaronno Velvet, a cream liqueur created by combining the classic liqueur of Disaronno Originale with real Dutch milk, at 17% ABV. Disaronno Velvet has the “floral character of almonds with nuances of chocolate and vanilla” and the packaging reflects the brand’s trademark bottle. Amaro dell’Etna, an herbaceous Italian liqueur whose recipe includes more than 26 all-natural ingredients, many of which thrive in the soil at the base of Mount Etna in Sicily, is now available in a new 750ml size. Flybird RTD Margaritas are made in Mexico, with no artificial flavors or additives, at 15% ABV, in Baja Lime or Strawberry, using 100% agave wine, a process similar to making tequila. The harvested and cooked agave plants release aguamiel or “honey water,” which is then fermented and filtered, then instead of the aguamiel being distilled into tequila, 100% de agave blanco tequila is added. Folonari Italian wine redesigned its labels, as well as launching two canned “fizzy wines” in a 4-pack, 355 ml: (two glasses of wine equivalent) Pinot Grigio Fizzy and Rosé Fizzy, each a summer sparkling offering with fruit-forward tastes. The summer will see POS, retail and consumer activation.
