Murphy Distributors welcomed the Casa México award-winning line of tequilas to its portfolio. Capturing the authenticity of Mexican culture, Casa México’s premium, hand-selected 100% blue agave plants are grown in red volcanic soil by one of the oldest tequila producers in the Los Altos highlands region of Jalisco, Mexico. Its plants spend a minimum of six years maturing before moving through the harvesting process. The small-batch tequila company was founded by Mexican-American beverage industry veteran Eric Buccio and is led with Los Angeles, California-based partners, actor and television host Mario Lopez and famed boxer and entrepreneur Oscar De La Hoya. The line is available in Blanco, with graceful earth tones, followed by crisp, sweet citrus, finishing with hints of spice; Reposado, with sweet and subtle ginger notes, followed by a slight oak finish and hints of cinnamon; and Añejo, with caramel notes and subsequent smooth American oak flavors for a uniquely nuanced spirit. Casa México never adds flavoring or coloring agents.
