Narragansett Hosts Holiday Market, Untaps New Brew

By January 26, 2022Rhode Island, Top News

Narragansett Beer, in collaboration with Field of Artisans, hosted a holiday market and tasting event at the Narragansett Beer Tasting Room in Providence’s Fox Point neighborhood on Dec. 17. Guests enjoyed winter and holiday Narragansett brews in the brewery’s taproom while doing holiday shopping among local artist vendors. Beers on tap included Narragansett Brewery Tock Haus Lager, Narragansett Brewery Fox Point Pale Ale, Wifi Password Double IPA and Narragansett Cats of Ulthar Blood Red Ale. Also on tap was Narragansett Beer’s latest collaborative brew, Norse x NorseWest, which was created by Lee Lord, Head Brewer, Narragansett Beer, in partnership with Kelly McKnight, Head Pilot R&D Brewer, New Belgium Brewing of Colorado. A modern version of a historic recipe, Norse X NorseWest is crafted using American malts and Nordic yeast and brewed with Lingenberry, Juniper, Myrica gale and European hops, resulting in a balanced yet unique blend of earthy, fruity and herbal flavors. Field of Artisans is a Rhode Island-based community and artisan market comprised of approximately 500 artists from across New England, whose goal is to provide opportunities for exposure, connection and support for its artists and those who appreciate the arts. Field of Artisans hosted pop-up art events at other Rhode Island-based breweries throughout the 2021 holiday season, including at The Guild in Pawtucket, Whalers Brewing Co. in Wakefield and Newport Craft Brewing & Distilling Co. in Newport.
