New England Wine & Spirits (NEWS) had an eventful time with its Maywood and Wente wines. Shown at Maywood with a tour, tasting and luncheon. Maywood Chardonnay and Cabernet Franc are both 100% Estate grown and aged in oak barrels made from oak trees grown on the Maywood property in Bridgewater, Coneecticut; a unique claim. Maywood has earned multiple medals for both of their varietals.
