Murphy Distributors added several new imported wine extensions to existing brands in its portfolio. Sauvetage, which means rescue in French, offers a “better for you wine” in a low calorie white, a next-in-line varietal after its Rosé launch: a Sauvignon Blanc. Sauvetage Sauvignon Blanc is made with grapes from Ventoux and Languedoc regions for a light-bodied white with notes of fresh-cut grass and tropical fruits and a touch of citrus and minerality. Bleu de Mer adds line extensions with its new Cabernet Sauvignon, a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon medium-to-full-bodied wine, with balanced earthiness and dark fruit flavors, and Sauvignon Blanc, a light-to-medium-bodied wine with intense scents of fruit, alongside freshness and a delicate crisp finish. Launched by vintner and championship sailing aficionado, Bernard Magrez of Bordeaux, the wines are highly expressive of the Languedoc terroir and join Bleu de Mer Rosé, made in Pays d’Oc, Vin de Pays, France.
