
Industry professionals and celebrants gathered in New Haven to celebrate the 91st anniversary of the repeal of Prohibition on Dec. 7. Team members from Eder Bros., Inc., and Slocum & Sons kicked off their 10th annual celebration of the citywide event dressed as flappers and bootleggers. Eighteen New Haven bars and restaurants coordinated Repeal Day-themed events and served Prohibition-era cocktails, including The Anchor Spa, BAR, Chacra Pisco Bar, Elm City Social, Jack’s Bar & Steakhouse, Olives and Oil, Ordinary, The Owl Shop, Pacifico, Villa Lulu and Zinc. Featured spirits included Four Roses Bourbon, Bumbu Rum, Bumbu XO Rum, McQueen and the Violet Fog Gin, Dolin Génépy le Chamois Liqueur, Fords Gin, Ezra Brooks Straight Rye Whiskey, Breckenridge Spiced Whiskey and El Mayor Añejo Tequila.
