New Sparkling Wines Join Tri-Vin Portfolio for Spring

By March 2, 2021Connecticut, Top News

New bubbly offerings from Tri-Vin Imports, Inc., join the Connecticut market as spring arrives. From Italy comes Veneto Prosecco DOC supplier Covalli. Offered in Covalli Prosecco Brut and Covalli Prosecco Extra Dry, each is a nonvintage sparkling wine offering tiny bubbles that linger. The Brut offers notes of green apple and peach on the nose as well as the palate, while the Extra Dry presents sweet honey aromas and fruit notes of gala apples and ripe pears on the palate among its tasting notes. French import Les Alliés, bottled in the Côte-d’Or Burgundy region, offers three entries: Les Alliés Sparkling Brut in 720 ml and minis, a fresh and lively 11% ABV wine; Les Alliés Brut Blanc de Blancs, a 100% Chardonnay with graphite and spice accents laced to a tightly meshed vibrant sparkling wine; and Les Alliés Sparkling Brut, a crisp, bright wine with cherry and shortcake aromas and a subtle minerality.
