Newport Vineyards hosted its 20th annual Spring Festival on April 29-30. Guests celebrated the season during two sold-out days on the grounds of the Middletown winery and brewery, enjoying tastes of the full lineup of Newport Vineyards vintages and beers from its on-site Taproot Brewing Company paired with cuisine from the winery’s culinary team. Musical acts Lady Anemoia, the Jake Ash Band and the Real Weird Band performed while guests enjoyed activities such as grape-stomping and pie-eating contests. Newport Vineyards’ estate-grown wines include Newport Vineyards Dry Rosé, Bellevue Blush, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Gemini Red, Cabernet Sauvignon, In the Buff Chardonnay, Dry Riesling, Great White Landot Noir and Vidal Blanc Ice Wine, among its many offerings, distributed by MS Walker of Rhode Island.
