The first weekend of April saw the return of Newport Vineyards’ SpringFest on April 2 and 3. Guests welcomed the season’s change on the grounds of the Middletown winery and brewery, enjoying two sold-out tasting sessions showcasing wine, beer, live music, bites from the kitchens, grape stomping and more. With over 50 acres of vines, spread across 100 acres of historically preserved farmland, Newport Vineyards has been creating its estate-grown wines for over 25 years. The property includes Taproot Brewing Co and the Marketplace store, and hosts private events throughout the year. Wines include Newport Vineyards Dry Rosé, Bellevue Blush, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Gemini Red, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay In The Buff, Dry Riesling, Great White Landot Noir and Vidal Blanc Ice Wine among its many offerings, distributed by MS Walker of Rhode Island.
