Newport Vineyards recently received both a gold and silver designation for excellence in the 13th Annual Atlantic Seaboard Wine Competition. The competition represents the 14 states from Maine to Florida that border the Atlantic plus Vermont, West Virginia and Pennsylvania. More than 100 wineries and 500 wines were featured in this year’s competition. Newport Vineyards’ 2016 Dry Rosé placed gold and its Gewürztraminer brought home silver. Both wines sold out of production before the end of the 2017 season.
