The Ocean State Waves Brew Tour, an annual brew fest and fundraiser celebrating local craft beer, fine wines, spirits and Rhode Island cuisine, returned to The Towers in Narragansett on Dec. 16. Guests enjoyed beverages from Whalers Brewing Company, Greenvale Vineyards, Grey Sail Brewing, Shaidzon Beer Company, Tapped Apple Cidery & Winery, Narragansett Beer, Proclamation Ale Company and Foolproof Brewing Company, with food from Rhode Island eateries Filippou’s Twisted Pizza, Arturo Joe’s, Breachway Grill, Vittoria’s NY Style Pizza, Matunuck Oyster Bar, Chophouse Grille, George’s of Galilee, The Surf Shack, East Landing and Mews Tavern. In its seventh year, the event was presented by Mixx 99.3, the official radio partner of the Ocean State Waves. Proceeds from the event benefited the Ocean State Waves, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and member of the New England Collegiate Baseball League. The organization’s goal is to give college baseball players a chance to develop and showcase their athletic skills during games for the community to enjoy at Old Mountain Field in Wakefield.
