Alverdi’s new packaging rolled out in April 2023. The current organic line includes Pinot Grigio, Barbera and Sangiovese available in 750 ml. Alverdi Organic Pinot Grigio is available in both 1.5-liter glass and 3-liter bag in box formats.

Opici Wines & Spirits reintroduced its proprietary brand Alverdi, which produces traditional Italian wines with fresh and fruit-forward selections now fully organic with a new look. The company said that with consumers increasingly conscious of brands that are environmentally friendly, Alverdi adjusted their winemaking philosophy to be non-GMO, 100% pesticide-free, using only organic fertilizers and environmentally responsible farming practices. To celebrate the winery’s transition to organic, the line has been redesigned with a bright and eye-catching floral label signifying the emphasis on “Going Green.” The look is inspired by the flowers seen growing on building exteriors in Italian towns and villages reflecting an authenticity of the wines, which are produced by one of the oldest and most well-respected wine producers in the country. “The name Alverdi literally translates into English as ‘to the green,’” said Don Opici, Managing Director of Opici Wines & Spirits. “We are finally taking our own advice and shifting the entire portfolio to an organic brand. The classic Italian varietals will remain with our continued emphasis on over-delivering on quality at an unbeatable price.”
