Ordinary in New Haven, along with representatives from Brescome Barton, hosted a “Tiki Island” Sailor Jerry Pop-Up event on August 28. Ordinary showcased Sailor Jerry Rum in a variety of Tiki-inspired cocktails including “Pots and Pans” that featured Sailor Jerry Rum, simple syrup, Jerry Thomas Bitters and flamed orange, as well as a “Jungle Bird Remixed” with Sailor Jerry Rum, Campari, pineapple and lime syrup. Chef Tyler Anderson of Millwrights in Simsbury made a guest appearance for the pop-up kitchen cuisine including Crab Rangoon, Tuna Poke and Crispy Spare Ribs.
