Branford-based Piu Facile Imports welcomed new wines from Spain, debuting at area retailers in August. The new line from Bodegas D4 is produced in the Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) of Vinos de la Tierra de Castilla. Bodegas D4 is a small winery located in El Picazo, in the heart of the Cuenca Manchuela. The modern wines are characterized by using the latest technologies combined with traditional methods. New to Connecticut are Bicioso Verdejo and Macabeo White Blend; Monociclo Tempranillo and Petit Verdot Red Blend; and Decuatro, Tempranillo, Bobal, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Sauvignon Red Blend.
