The 10th annual Denim & Diamonds fundraising tasting, supported by retailer Sammy’s Buy-Rite Liquors of Wethersfield, was hosted at Saint Clements Castle & Marina in Portland on May 11. Guests enjoyed a variety of fine wines, spirits and beer selections while listening to music spun by DJ DG, MNE Events, and placing their bids in a large silent auction. Sponsored by Liberty Bank, proceeds from the event benefited MARC Community Resources, a charitable organization providing services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including community housing, employment, and social and vocational programs.
