Protochol Beverage’s Spiked Protein launched with Star Distributors. The 8% ABV canned drink is the first spiked protein drink on the market and offers 11 grams of protein in each 16-oz. can, with a light and sweet taste similar to juice. The founders, Mitch Clark and Josh Kurczewski, created the spiked protein drink shortly after college, blending store-bought ingredients in their parents’ basements and taste-testing with friends. This led to them developing formulas tailored for large production runs and the brand launched in 2022. Since launching, Protochol Beverage’s Spiked Protein has expanded distribution throughout the East Coast, including Connecticut. Sold in single-serve and by the 4-pack, the uncarbonated beverage is available in Swoleberry Strawberry Flavor, Orange County Orange Creamsicle Flavor and Pineapple Pump Piña Colada.
