Rhode Island-based brands were highlighted during the 16th annual Sun Wine & Food Fest at Mohegan Sun Resort Casino in Uncasville, Connecticut, during the weekend of January 25-27. Ocean State tastes during the festival’s Grand Tasting Preview and Grand Tasting Event included Gooseneck Vineyards, Revival Brewing Co. and Grey Sail Brewing. The Friday and Saturday tastings featured more than 1,000 brands of beer, wine and spirits among other weekend event attractions. Approximately 7,000 people attended the four-day festival and a portion of the proceeds benefited Connecticut’s Channel 3 Kids Camp charity.
