Spoetzl Brewery announced its summer seasonal, Shiner Ruby Redbird, will now be available year-round beginning January 2015. The Texas-based brewery first launched the beer 2011. Ruby Redbird is a 4%-abv brew made with Texas Ruby Red Grapefruit and a hint of ginger. Redbird is joined in the Shiner portfolio by Shiner Bock, White Wing, Bohemian Black Lager, Wild Hare Pale Ale and Shiner Premium among others. The Shiner Beer line came to Connecticut and Rhode Island in 2014.
