Shipwreck Rum Wreckers in Mango Mojito, Vanilla Creamsicle and Coconut Club.

Opici Wines & Spirits and Opici Family Distributing of Connecticut launched Shipwreck Rum’s newest venture, Wreckers, a line of canned, ready-to-drink craft cocktails. Flavors include Mango Mojito, a nostalgia-inducing Vanilla Creamsicle, and lime-kissed Coconut Club, at 6% ABV each, sold in 12 oz. can, 4-packs. The cans, and can carriers, are 100% recyclable with Wreckers continuing to be involved in the St. Kitts Sea Turtle Monitoring Network, donating a portion of all proceeds to help preserve and protect the wildlife. “My father and I have been Caribbean Rum-Runners for decades now, and this is definitely something new for us,” said Zach Brinley, Owner/Chief Bootlegger, Shipwreck Rum. “We know we’re not the first to can a cocktail, but there is always plenty of room for a true family-owned, all-natural and delicious craft cocktail that you can feel good about while you’re enjoying it.” Shipwreck Rum was founded by Zach and Bob Brinley, a son and father team, on the island of St. Kitts in 2002, since expanding to include eight different rums.
