Slocum Imports, a division of Slocum & Sons, held its inaugural annual wine tasting at The Hopkins Inn in Warren, Conn. on October 8, 2014. The Slocum Imports’ portfolio represents an array of artisanal wine producers almost exclusively from Europe, with heavy emphasis on Austria and Germany, making The Hopkins Inn, renowned for its Austrian cuisine, a complementary setting. Overlooking scenic Lake Waramaug, guests enjoyed the hand-crafted wines presented on a picture-perfect fall day.
