Slocum & Sons welcomed Silkie Irish Whiskey: Scott Randall, Portfolio Manager; Alex Meier-Tomkins, Senior Brand Manager; and Eoin Connors, Vice President of Sales, with The Legendary Silkie Irish Whiskey and The Legendary Dark Silkie Blended Irish Whiskey.

Slocum & Sons hosted a visit from Sliabh Liag Distillers, makers of Silkie Irish Whiskey, as part of its portfolio onboarding. The brand was founded in 2014 by James and Moira Doherty, who share a mission to promote the famed Irish coast where the distillery is located. Inspired by the tales of the mythical Silkie seals of the Donegal coast and local lore, The Legendary Silkie Irish Whiskey offers a balanced blend of double- and triple-distilled single malts, soft grain whiskey and a hint of peated malt. Bottled by hand at 46% ABV, the whiskey is non-chill-filtered for a distinctively rich character, a perfect sipping whiskey over ice or in a favorite whiskey cocktail. The Legendary Dark Silkie Blended Irish Whiskey, its second flagship expression, is a smoky blend of double-distilled single malts and triple-distilled peated single malts with soft grain whiskey. Slocum’s sales team enjoyed a tasting and meeting with the brand’s International Sales Director David Wood and visiting accounts for local brand education.
