Slocum & Sons hosted a meet-and-greet with Copper Cane Wines & Provisions Winemaker and Owner Joe Wagner at the Capital Grille in Hartford on May 15. Wagner is a fifth-generation Napa Valley winemaker whose brands include Belle Glos, Elouan, Quilt, Beran, Böen, Carne Humana and Steorra. During the event, the Slocum & Sons sales team enjoyed several wines from the company’s portfolio, including Elouan Pinot Noir and Rosé, Belle Glos Pinot Noir, and Wagner’s newest creation, Steorra Brut Sparkling Wine. Light fare was provided by Capital Grille. Slocum & Sons hosted a second event at Total Wine in Norwalk on May 16, where the public was invited for a bottle signing event with Wagner.
