
Slocum & Sons hosted four fall wine dinners in September. On September, 17, 2015, Gifford’s Restaurant in Kent, Connecticut featured wines from Huneeus Vinters with the theme, “Taste of Chile” while Lan Chi’s Vietnamese Restaurant in Middletown hosted a wine pairing dinner in conjunction with The Wine Cellar, also of Middletown. On September 21, Burtons Grill in South Windsor was the setting for an evening of Latin-inspired cuisine and featured spirits. Wesport’s Blue Lemon was the site for a wine dinner with Huneeus Vinters on September 29.

Wines included 2015 Cuvelier Los Andes Malbec Rosé from Argentina, 2014 Ritual Pinot Noir from Chile, 2012 Primus Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile, 2014 Carrau Sauvignon Blanc Sur Lue from Uruguay and a Cleto Chiarli Centenario Lambrusco Amabile from Italy.
